Novato, CA – Redwood Credit Union’s Novato branch will host an exhibit of the winning posters in this year’s Fair Housing of Marin poster contest. The annual poster contest helps to educate K-8 students on the issues of human rights and equality, and provides an opportunity to celebrate diversity in our schools and neighborhoods. This year’s theme was, “2010: Fair Housing: New Neighbors, New Friends.” The winning posters will be showcased on easels in the lobby of Redwood Credit Union Novato Branch, located at 1010 Grant Avenue, from June 15, to July 9, 2010. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm. All winning entries will include the student artist’s name and the name of his or her school.
“The Fair Housing of Marin poster contest is a fun, creative way to get our local schools involved in celebrating the diversity of our many local neighborhoods, and we are delighted to showcase this year’s winning entries,” said Richard De Ramon, RCU’s Novato Branch Manager.
