Redwood Credit Union Re-elects Volunteer Supervisory Committee and 2010-11 Officers
Santa Rosa, CA –Redwood Credit Union (RCU), the North Bay’s largest Credit Union, recently elected incumbents Martin Grove and Steve Sharpe to their Supervisory Committee. RCU’s volunteer Supervisory Committee oversees the audit function for the Credit Union.
Martin Grove has been a volunteer Official with RCU since 2003, and is retired from State Compensation Insurance Fund. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Sonoma State University. Mr. Grove currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Volunteer Center and Blood Bank of the Redwoods.
Steve Sharpe has served on the RCU Supervisory Committee since 1992. He is owner of Sharpe Associates, a land use and planning consulting business in Santa Rosa. He formerly worked as an Administrative Analyst in the Sonoma County Administrator’s Office and was Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). He has a Bachelor’s Degree from UC Davis. Mr. Sharpe serves on the Board of Trustees for Bennett Valley Union School District, and is active in the Bennett Valley Vision community program.
The Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee has also announced their officers for the year will be Steve Sharpe as Chair, and David Gouin as Secretary.
