Assistant Branch Manager (Windsor and San Francisco Locations)
POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate and administer the day-to-day operations of a small, medium or large branch office. Provide support to the Branch Manager’s vision and leadership to branch personnel.   Demonstrate and ensure quality member service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Branch Operations
  • Effectively utilizes branch resources to meet Members’ needs by monitoring the flow of traffic in branch.
  • Schedule staff to ensure superior member service and branch needs are met.
  • Maintain the efficient day-to-day operations of the branch by ensuring completion of daily operational tasks.
  • Research members’ inquiries and respond accordingly.
  • Conduct branch audits and ensures compliance with Redwood Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the balancing of all cash and negotiable items in the branch.
  • Ensure new or changed procedures are incorporated in department functions.
  • Perform teller transactions when needed and reconcile cash nightly.
  • Open new accounts, process loan applications, approve loan applications, and fund loans, as needed.
  • Safeguard member information and ensure confidentiality by following established policy and procedures.
Sales and Service  
  • Provide excellent service to all Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
  • Cross-sells RCU and RCUSG products and services.
  • Recommend and implement goals with branch staff.
  • Achieve branch goals and objectives as assigned.
  • Maintain an effective sales and service culture in branch by coaching staff.
  • Recognize and reward staff for achievements in sales and service goals.
  • Support the Branch Manager’s community involvement and business development efforts.
  • Conduct regular sales and coaching meetings.
Branch Administration  
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of written policies and procedures.
  • Draft correspondence for member related inquiries.
  • Participate in Credit Union committees.
  • Perform special projects, research, and analysis as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of written policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough knowledge of modern sales management principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of branch operations policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in the operation of office equipment including PC with word processing and spreadsheets software, intranet, and Internet access.
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work and act independently and confidentially, using discretion and tact.

Education/Experience

A combination of education and experience equivalent to an associates degree in business administration, accounting, or closely related field and four years financial services, operations and sales experience including two years as a supervisor.

Call Center Representative
Description/Qualifications

Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized telephone requests and back office work associated with the Member Services Center in processing member's loan and teller transactions.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of modern office methods, practices and procedures.
  • Skill in the operations of a personal computer with Intranet and Internet access in a Windows environment.
  • Demonstrated Member service skills.
  • Ability to cross-sell products and services to meet Members needs.
  • Ability to make mathematical computations.
  • Ability to operate standard and specialized office machines including 10 key by touch.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people.

Call Center Senior Representative

Business Services Loan Clerk
POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform a variety of routine duties within the Business Services Department including filing, typing, answering phones, reviewing loan documents and obtaining documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Business Loan Functions   40%
  • Collect and disburse incoming loan documentation to loan officer.
  • Prepare loan packages for submission to underwriters or loan officer, by making necessary copies and organizing information.
  • Send out loan packages, letters and other information to prospective Members.
  • Log in and track incoming information and loan packages for progress.
  • File necessary information in loan files.
  • Collect and disburse incoming loan documentation to loan officer
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Distribute interoffice memos and mail on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and maintain logs which document incoming loans.
  • Set up and post new member checking accounts using Symitar.
  • Perform basic file maintenances on Member business loans.
  • Organize office supplies in designated area and order as needed
  • Monitor 3rd party underwriting timelines.
Record keeping   20%
  • Prepare reports related to participation loans, merchant services, payroll services and business deposit accounts.
  • Update financial follow-up tickler and other tickler systems.
Non-Essential Functions   10%
  • Provide general assistance to Business Loan Specialist in department activities and projects.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
