Mechanical Breakdown ProtectionIf your car has ever broken down you know how costly and inconvenient repairs can be. As the cost of repairs continues to climb, you can safeguard your vehicle with Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP).
Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) is designed to provide you with comprehensive coverage on your vehicles from coast-to-coast. Drive in comfort knowing this extensive care offers protection against unforeseen repairs, and is there when you need it – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Breakdown Coverage. We will pay or reimburse you for reasonable costs to repair or replace any breakdown of a mechanical or electrical part listed below, less any deductible. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, or used parts of like kind and quality.
We offer four comprehensive plans:
- STANDARD
- CLASSIC
- ELITE
- PREMIER
You get to decide on the coverage that is right for you. All plans are specially designed to meet individual needs.
STANDARD
The STANDARD policy covers: Engine (including diesels), Turbocharger/Supercharger (if factory installed) Transmission (automatic or standard), Transfer Case, Drive Axles (front and rear). See our Insurance experts for more details.
CLASSIC
The CLASSIC policy covers everything listed under STANDARD and the following: Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Air Conditioner, Front and Rear Suspension. See our Insurance experts for more details.
ELITE
The ELITE policy covers everything listed under STANDARD and CLASSIC and the following: Fuel Delivery, Cooling, Enhanced Electrical. See our Insurance experts for more details.
PREMIER
The PREMIER policy covers everything listed under STANDARD, CLASSIC, ELITE and the following: Luxury Package Factory Installed, Interior and Exterior Appointments. See our Insurance experts for more details.
We will pay or reimburse you for reasonable costs to repair or replace any breakdown of all mechanical and electrical parts except those excluded under the terms and conditions contained in the policy. Failure of a non-covered component caused by a covered component. Failure of a covered component caused by a non-covered component.
