2012: Off to a Strong Start

A Message from RCU’s President & CEO Brett Martinez

Happy New Year! Your Credit Union had an amazing year in 2011, and I want to share a few highlights with you.

Through our yearlong Amazing Savers contest, we provided tools and education to help people improve their finances and save money, demonstrating what we’re here to do every day for each of our Members. We congratulate Team Jaworski, who won, and all our contestants for making amazing transformations.

In June, we were pleased to welcome the Members of Cal State Central Credit Union through the merging of our organizations, adding a branch on North Dutton Avenue in Santa Rosa, along with new branches in Sonoma and Glen Ellen.

We were also excited to open a full-service branch in Sebastopol, bringing our branch network to 18 locations.

We introduced new technology by upgrading all our ATMs for added convenience, with envelope-free deposits and check-image receipts. We’re laying the foundation for additional improvements to our technology in 2012, including a new website, improved online banking and added convenience services such as mobile banking.

RCU recently welcomed many new Members as a result of the Bank Transfer Movement, which has helped increase awareness of the benefits of credit union membership.
