It's important to always be aware of the information contained in your credit report. Following are links to the three major credit-reporting agencies. These sites will give you credit reporting information and tell you how to order your own credit report. You can also order your credit report by calling the phone numbers listed after each agency, or see below for how to obtain a free credit report annually.
Californians can now get one FREE credit report a year from the three national credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Keep informed of your credit score and monitor recent changes and activity to be sure that your sensitive credit information is secure. To request your free report, visit www.annualcreditreport.com, or call (877) 322-8228.
