RCU deposits are federally insured for a minimum of $250,000 per account – including properly established retirement accounts – by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Additional insurance coverage in excess of $250,000 is available in most instances based on account structuring.

Our loan portfolio consists of consumer, mortgage and small business loans funded by Member deposits and granted with sound credit decisions. RCU did not grant or invest in subprime mortgage loans or other high-risk ventures, and our loan policies and practices continue to serve our Members well. In fact, we have been ranked as the #1 SBA Lender in the North Bay by the Small Business Administration.
