Redwood Credit Union Names New Community Liaison
Gonzalo Romo joins RCU to support community events and engagement
Santa Rosa, Calif. – Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has named Gonzalo Romo as community liaison in the community department. Gonzalo will represent RCU at nonprofit and community events in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Marin, and San Francisco counties, and will support community efforts for RCU’s 17 branches in these communities.
“We are pleased to welcome Gonzalo to RCU’s community department,” said Matthew Martin, vice president of community and government relations. “We’re confident his solid community and nonprofit experience will be a great fit for RCU.”
Prior to joining RCU, Gonzalo worked for nonprofits in Marin and Sonoma Counties, including the Conservation Corps North Bay, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Marin and Petaluma. Gonzalo volunteered on the campaign of Senator Mike McGuire and currently serves as a member of the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (CDC), representing the 2nd district.
Gonzalo is a graduate of Sonoma State University and grew up in rural Marin County.
