How do I adjust my debit card limits?

Members can temporarily increase their RCU debit card purchase limit and ATM withdrawal limit through mobile or online banking.

  1. Log in to mobile or online banking
  2. Navigate to the "Manage Cards" tab
  3. Select "Adjust Debit Limits"

    Adjust Debit Limits
  4. Select the card to adjust your daily debit purchase limit or ATM withdrawal limit amounts
  5. Click the "Next" button and follow the prompts

A verification email will be sent to your email address that verifies the adjusted amount.

These temporary increases will remain in place for three days before they are returned to the standard limit of $3500 for debit purchases and $800 for ATM withdrawals. Members may increase their purchase limits once every five days.

To increase your debit card purchase limit above $5,000 or your ATM withdrawal limit above $1,000, please call the RCU Member Service Center at 1 (800) 479-7928, or visit your nearest RCU branch.

To decrease your debit card purchase limit and ATM withdrawal limit, follow the same steps above.

Members may permanently decrease their debit card purchase limit and ATM withdrawal limit on the RCU debit card(s) through mobile and online banking by completing the same steps.

Decreases remain in place until the Member increases their limits to the desired amount.

Please note that some ATMs may have a dispensing limit not associated with your daily limit. If that is the case, multiple transactions may have to be made in order to withdrawal your desired amount.
