Yes, you can still access your Redwood Credit Union accounts after you move. We offer 24/7 digital banking and our shared branch and ATM network help you stay connected wherever you go.

Can I still be a Member if I move outside of RCU’s service area?

Answer: Yes. It doesn’t matter if you move within California, out of state, or out of the country. You can keep accessing your accounts after a move, and digital banking gives you a simple way to manage them from wherever you are.

What ATM and branch access do I have after I move?

Answer: You can keep using the Co-op® shared branch network, which lets Members do banking at thousands of other credit union branches nationwide. You also have free access to 35,000+ Co-op® Network ATMs, which you can find at other credit unions and in Costco and 7-Eleven stores. You can use Co-op ATMs just as you would an RCU ATM.

If you cannot find a Co-op® ATM close by, you can use any other ATM, and RCU will reimburse you for up to 4 non-RCU ATM fees per month.*

*First two non-RCU ATM fees reimbursed with active checking; first four non-RCU ATM fees reimbursed with active checking and active RCU loan or credit card. Active checking is defined as a checking account having 3 or more transactions per month (excluding telephone teller, fee or dividend posting transactions). RCU loan or credit card with at least 1 transaction or payment in the prior month. Direct Access checking accounts are ineligible for ATM fee reimbursements. ATMs with fees over $10, at casino/gambling locations, and outside the U.S. are excluded from reimbursement.
