How do I place a stop payment on a check or series of checks?

You can place a stop payment on a check or series of checks that have not yet cleared your account. There is a cost recovery charge of $22.00 for each stop payment placed, but if you are doing a series of checks in sequential order (e.g., 101,102,103), there is only one charge. Stop payments are good for 36 months from the date they are submitted.
